2009-10 Internship Opportunities
The Flint Generals Hockey Club is currently seeking college students for our Internship Program during the 2009-10 season.
Our Internship Program is designed to provide knowledge and experience on how a minor league sports organization operates. The program emphasizes experience in the areas of public relations, promotions, game operations, and marketing.
Commitment Required:
- 20-30 hours per week (on average)
- September/October 2009 thru April/May 2010
Qualifications/Skills:
Interested individuals must possess above average organizational skills, be able to function in a fast-paced and multi-task environment, and have exceptional time management skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must as well as basic computer skills. All interns for the 2009-10 season must be eligible to receive college credit.
Responsibilities Include:
Facilitate in-game promotions such as contest, advertisements, and fan-interaction. Prepare and participate in outside promotional events and develop client fulfillment packages. Additional office work will be required.
